NURSES DAY CELEBRATION 2026
International Nurses Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and dignity at PK Das College of Nursing on 12 May 2026. The programme was organized by SNA Unit. The celebration began with a prayer followed by the welcome address delivered by the organizing committee. The Principal, Vice Principal, Heads of Departments, faculty members, and students actively participated in the programme.
As part of the celebration, various competitions and activities were conducted for students and faculty members. Games such as musical chair and ball passing were organized to encourage participation and teamwork. Competitions including pencil drawing, and extempore speech related to the Nurses Day theme were also conducted. Winners were appreciated with mementos.
The programme also included motivational speeches emphasizing the theme of Nurses Day 2026 and the evolving role of nurses in modern healthcare.The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks expressing gratitude to the management, faculty members, organizers, and students for their wholehearted support and participation. The programme was a grand success and created a sense of unity, pride, and professional commitment among all participants.
