On account of PCOD month celebration, Department of OBG Nursing conducted an awareness programme about Polycystic Ovarian Disease for the students of Swathy Central School. Polycystic Ovary Disease (PCOD) Awareness Month is a global healthcare event observed annually throughout September, aiming to improve the lives of those affected by PCOD and to help them overcome their symptoms as well as prevent and reduce their risks for life-threatening related diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and cancer. The students of 10th and 11th standard were participated. Asso. Prof. Dana Baby did the introduction and briefing about the topic. The 6th Semester students conducted the programme. The students and teaching, nonteaching staff of the school were very much keenly attended the session. They had cleared their doubts.
The school students expressed their gratitude towards our College. Lecturer Yamunadevi did the vote of thanks.The programme got concluded at 1215 p.m.
