INDEPENDENCE DAY 2025

The event commemorated the 79th Independence Day in 2025, organized by the NSS Unit of P K Das College of Nursing . The celebration was held on the college campus, emphasizing the importance of national pride and community participation. The program commenced with a warm welcome speech delivered by Ms. Sreya, who serves as the College Union General Secretary of PKDCN. This was followed by the flag hoisting ceremony, a significant patriotic act led by Prof. Dr. A. Priya Mary Stella, the Principal of PKDCN, symbolizing the nation's sovereignty and unity. During the event, Prof. Dr. A. Priya Mary Stella also delivered an inspiring speech that highlighted the significance of independence, the progress of the nation, and the role of students and staff in nation-building. The program saw active participation from various members of the college community, including the Vice Principal, Heads of Departments, faculty members, non-teaching staff, NSS volunteers, and students, all of whom attended the event to show their patriotism and support. The celebration concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, fostering a sense of unity and national pride among attendees. Following the formal proceedings, snacks were distributed to all participants, providing an opportunity for informal interaction.
