RESEARCH APPRECIATION DAY CELEBRATION
Research forms the backbone of progress in society. On this day, we acknowledge the tireless work of researchers who dedicate countless hours to discovery and innovation, often behind the scenes. By highlighting their contributions, Research Appreciation Day encourages continued investment in research and inspires future generations to pursue careers in science and academia. Recognising researchers also fosters a greater public understanding of how evidence-based solutions benefit communities worldwide.
The programme started with 1 min. silent prayer. Prof.Dr. A. Priya Mary Stella, inaugurated the function and explained about the importance of the day and how research is involved in today’s world.
Vice Principal Prof. Dr. Ariyalakshmi .B. revealed this year’s theme "Plasticity in Research: AI & Beyond," It explores how researchers adapt to evolving technologies and developments in their fields. Lt Col Prof. Dr. Regina. P.F. congratulated all students and emphasized the importance of publishing the articles in Journals.
Administrative Officer, Mr Benny Paul highlighted the possibilities of research and congratulated all students for completing their research projects successfully.. Prof. Zaina Elizabeth extended vote of thanks and the celebration concluded at 3p.m with sweet distribution. Research Appreciation Day has its roots in academic and scientific communities, where it began as a way to highlight the significance of research efforts.
