INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST DRUG ABUSE AND ILLICIT TRAFFICKING
The international day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking was observed on 30/06/2025 at 03.00 PM by the department of mental health nursing . The 4th semester B.Sc Nursing students were participated in this programme. The programme was inaugurated by prof. Dr. Aryalakshmi, Vice Principal, PKDCN. Followed with that Ms. Catherine James, 4th sem B.Sc nursing student welcomed the gathering. The theme of the year 2025 “Breaking the chains: Prevention, treatment and recovery for all “ was unfolded by Prof. Dr. Aryalakshmi, Vice Principal, PKDCN and she has also highlighted about the role of the nurses in prevention of drug abuse. As a part of this programme, the faculty and students have took an oath against drug abuse. The aoth taking was led by Mrs. PricyMonica M, Associate Professor, PKDCN. Followed by that Ms.Shabana sabu , 4th sem B.Sc nursing student delivered the vote of thanks. With this the programme was ended at 4.00 PM.
