ARTS DAY-KALARAVAM
The Arts Day event at P K Das College of Nursing was conducted from March 5 to 7, 2025, providing a platform for the students to showcase their creative skills in various forms of art. This event, which aimed to promote creativity and cultural engagement, was organized by the student nurse?s association and yuga college union council of the nursing college. It featured a series of activities, performances, and exhibitions designed to celebrate the diverse talents within the college community. The Arts Day event spanned three days and featured several activities and performances, each designed to engage and inspire participants. First day focused on writing completions such as essay writing, poem writing, story writing and all. Second day focused on singing items such as elocution, mappilaapttu, solo song, nadanpattu, group song etc. Third day focused dance items such as Bharatanatyam, folkdance, thiruvathira. margamkali, oppana, nostalgic dance, skit, mime etc. There was an overwhelming response from the students, many of whom participated in multiple events throughout the three days. The enthusiasm and team spirit displayed by everyone involved contributed to the overall success of the event. The event concluded with a closing ceremony where the winners of the various competitions were announced, and prizes were distributed. The principal gave a closing speech thanking all participants, volunteers, and faculty for making the event a success.
