ATHLETIC MEET - ATHLETICA
The much-anticipated Athletic Meet, Athletica, was successfully conducted on March 4, 2025, at the JCET Campus, Lakkidi. The event was organized by P.K. Das College of Nursing to encourage physical fitness, promote sportsmanship, and engage students in healthy competition. Athletica featured a range of athletic events, from track and field to team sports, providing a platform for students to showcase their physical prowess and teamwork skills. The Athletic Meet took place in a well-organized manner, with enthusiastic participation from students of all years. The event featured a mix of individual and team sports, encouraging both personal achievement and group collaboration. The students showed tremendous spirit and sportsmanship, engaging actively in both competitive and recreational activities. Faculty members also attended the event, supporting students and fostering a sense of community and teamwork. The sports events were organized in a manner that encouraged participation from students of various skill levels. This inclusivity helped build confidence among participants and made the event enjoyable for everyone involved. The event ended with a closing ceremony where the winners of each category were announced and awarded medals and certificates. The ceremony also included speeches from the organizing committee, thanking all participants, volunteers, and faculty members for their support in making the event successful. The Athletica Athletic Meet held at the JCET Campus, Lakkidi, on March 4, 2025, was a grand success. It provided a vibrant and energetic platform for students to showcase their athletic abilities, engage in healthy competition, and promote fitness within the college community. The event reinforced the importance of physical activity in the overall development of students and contributed to creating a healthy and active environment at P.K. Das College of Nursing.
