NUTRITION FEST
Fourth year BSc. Nursing students of Nehru college of nursing conducted a nutrition programme at anganwadi Kavalappara on 29.09.2023 at 10 am under the guidance of Ms Zaina Elizabeth, Associate Professor. The programme started at 9:30 am. 27 mothers of preschooler children participated in the event. We the students prepared food items such as laddo, pancake, stuffed brinjal fry, badam milk, veg vermicelli pulav, vermicelli payasam for the beneficiaries which was tasty as well as healthier. We have also taken nutrition pledge for mothers of children to have healthier diet . We performed puppet show regarding non communicable disease and its prevention which made the gathering more interesting.
