FDP-QUALITY PRACTICES IN NURSING EDUCATION
On 29th November 2024, A FDP was conducted at PKDCN Auditorium.The resource person was Dr. Tholkappia Arasu Govindarajan, CEO, Aassan Educare Foundation. The programme started at 10 a.m. Prof. Dr. Priya Mary Stella, Principal proposed the welcome address. In today's rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, the demand for well-trained, competent nursing professionals has never been more critical. Nursing educators play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare by instilling not only knowledge but also the values, ethics, and skills essential for delivering quality care. This program is designed to empower nursing faculty with the latest knowledge, tools, and methodologies to enhance the quality of education in their classrooms, clinical settings, and beyond. The resource person being an experienced Senior Advisor and CEO with a demonstrated history of working in the Higher Educational Management Institutions had a vast knowledge about the topic. Sir had explained in depth about Educational technology, Instructional design and team building. The topic ?quality practices in nursing education? was really an eye opening session towards the Accreditation process. All the queries of audience were answered. Prof.Dr. Ariyalakshmi.
