WORLD IMMUNIZATION DAY 2024
As a part of world immunization day celebrations, the department of child health nursing organized a role play on immunization day 2024 theme ? vaccine for all? on 11/11/2024 from 10.30am to 12.00 pm at Panayur Anganwadi. The students of sixth semester BSc Nursing participated in the role play involving 15 students from the respective batch . The role play was based on importance of immunization in preventing diseases.Mothers of all Anganwadi kids participated actively and responded positively to the message of role play and students interacted with mothers of kids with useful information on immunization. Also, the department of child health nursing of PK Das College of Nursing conducted research on knowledge and attitude of mothers on immunization for which knowledge questionnaires were distributed to mothers who attended the program. The kids entertainment programs were also conducted by students where they would express their little talents.
