GENDER SENSITIZATION PROGRAM
The Internal Complaint Committee and Women cell of P K Das College of Nursing organized a gender sensitization program on 30/09/2024 at 03.30 pm in Conference Hall, PKDCN . The program was inaugurated by Prof. Priya Mary Stella, Principal, P K Das College of Nursing. The presidential address was given by Prof.Dr.Ariyalakshmi.B, Vice Principal and Presiding Officer of ICC, PKDCN. Prof Dr.Lt.Col.Regina.P.F, HOD, Dept of OBG Nursing presented a talk on the topic ?What is Gender??. She commenced the talk by explaining the difference between gender and sex. She emphasized gender identity, expressions, behavior, LGTQ etc. The session was very interactive and informational. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs.Rani.G.S, Assistant Professor and Member secretary of ICC, PKDCN.
