HEALTH DAY CELEBRATION_HYGIEA HAVEN 2K24
As a part of the Health Day celebration, the department of medical surgical nursing organized an exhibition on September 4, 2024, at P.K.Das college of nursing auditorium at 9:30 am. 4th semester B se nusing students conducted a health exhibition named HYGIEA HAVEN 2K24 In this exhibition, students were divided into 10 groups,9 members in each groups Each group was assigned different topics. Group 1 presented chemotherapy with high dose of medication and bio safety cabinet. This was really helpful in spreading the importance of cytotoxicity of drugs. Group 2 topic was rule of nine, they depicted their idea in the chart. Group 3 preasented breast cancer, they also depicted breast self examinations in chart. Group 4 presented musculoskeletal system. Group 5 presented refractive errors, they spread the awereness of the main causes of visual impairement worldwide. Group 6 presented natural disaster, an important topic in predicting future disasters and understanding vulnerability and reducing it by integrating local and scientific knowledge. Group 7 presented operation theatre, a layout of operation theatre with all tools and instruments. Group 8 presented dialysis, they made dialysis machine model. Group 9 presented angioplasty with working model.Group 10 presented ovarian cancer with structural model. Programme inaugurated by principal Prof. Priya Mary Stella P.K Das college of nursing at 9:30 am. The vice principal, all faculties, second semester, sixth semester and forth years attended the exhibition. From Swathi School, students and teachers attended the exhibition. The programme was awful and attendees appreciated their efforts.
