WBW - HEALTH EDUCATION AND DIET EXHIBITION
The Department of Child Health Nursing and Department of Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing at P K Das College of Nursing observed World Breastfeeding Week 2024. On August 7, 2024, at 2 pm, they organized a health education and diet exhibition at Panayur Anganwadi. Fourth-year nursing students prepared a diet plan for lactating mothers, considering their caloric needs and explained its preparation. The event successfully promoted the importance of proper nutrition for lactating mothers, empowering them with knowledge and resources to support healthy breastfeeding practices.
