RAIN WATER HARVESTING AND WATER MANAGEMENT
Rain water harvesting is the simple process or technology used to conserve rain water by collecting, storing, conveying and purifying of rain water that runs off from roof tops, parks roads open grounds etc for later use. A session was taken by Dr. Jos. C . Raphel consultant in rain water harvesting and water management for V Sem B.Sc. Nursing students of P.K. Das College of Nursing, Vaniyamkulam on 25/06/24 and field visit on rain water harvesting system was conducted on 1/07/ 24 in near by houses ,Mulangunathkavu, Thrissur to observe how rain water stored , filtered and utilized for plants and trees.
