Visit to PolyGarden
Mental health nursing department and fifth semester students planned to spend a day with mentally challenged people and donate fund for them. On 16th April 2024, 89 students accompanied by Prof.Sathyasri, HOD, Dept of MHN and Ms.Krishnendu, Lecturer Dept of MHN visited Polygarden at 10.00 AM. The staff in Polygarden gave introduction about their institution, its history, mission and services. 125 mentally challenged people are living there and they showed their hidden talents in front of us. Students also performed some programmes for them. It was a memorable day for us and they shared their thoughts and feedback at the end of programme.
