CONGENITAL HEART DEFECT AWARENESS DAY
The Child Health Nursing Department of P.K Das College of Nursing organized an academic awareness programme on 16 February 2026 in observance of Congenital Heart Day 2026. The session, led by Dr. Satish G. Prabhu, Principal of PKDIMS, focused on early identification, prevention, and management of congenital heart diseases.
The programme enhanced students’ understanding of congenital heart defects, warning signs, treatment approaches, and the crucial role of nurses in paediatric cardiac care.
