Faculty Development Programme on Scholarly Authorship and Publishing
The Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Scholarly Authorship and Publishing” was successfully conducted on 5th February 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at [Venue Name]. The programme aimed to enhance faculty members’ knowledge of academic writing, research publication processes, and ethical publishing practices.
The inaugural session featured a welcome address by Dr. Ariyalakshmi B, Vice Principal and IQAC Coordinator, and a presidential address by Dr. A. Priya Mary Stella, Principal, PKDCN. The resource person, Dr. Madusoodanan Pillai K.R, Professor & Head, Department of English, P.K.Das College of Liberal Arts and Science, led informative and interactive sessions on scholarly authorship, journal selection, research ethics, plagiarism, and publication standards.
The programme concluded with a valedictory session, vote of thanks, and certificate distribution. The FDP was a successful initiative that strengthened research quality and publication ethics among faculty members.
