CERVICAL HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAMME
The Department of OBG Nursing, P.K. Das College of Nursing, organized a Cervical Health Awareness Programme on 28th January 2026 (Wednesday), featuring a poster competition with active participation from students of all batches.
The programme began with a one-minute silent prayer, followed by a welcome address by Ms. Shreya. The event was inaugurated by the Principal, Prof. Dr. Priya Mary Stella. A special highlight of the programme was the presence of the surprise guest, Prof. Dr. Sona P.S., Registrar of the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council, who spoke about the importance of cervical health and the HPV vaccine. She also appreciated the creativity and efforts of the students who participated in the poster competition.
Lt. Col. Dr. Prof. Regina P.F. delivered the vote of thanks, and the programme concluded at 4:30 p.m., leaving students with increased awareness about cervical health and preventive care.
