REPORT ON WORLD AIDS DAY PROGRAMME 2025
As a part of the World AIDS Day Celebration, we the Community Health Nursing department conducted an awareness Programme on December 1st 2025. The theme for the 2025 World Aids Day was Overcoming disruption, transforming the AIDS response", This theme emphasizes the importance of strengthening healthcare systems, reducing inequalities, removing stigma, and ensuring uninterrupted HIV prevention and treatment services. The Programme was conducted in TRK Higher Secondary school Vaniyamkulam. The awareness session was conducted in the form of a thematic dance by 5th semester B.SC Nursing Students of P.k. Das College of Nursing. The health education was focused on the causes, mode of transmission, clinical manifestations, management and prevention of HIV AIDS. A word of gratitude for the gathering was given by Ms. Theresa by 5th semester B.SC Nursing student. It was informative, engaging, and impactful. The programme successfully highlighted the global commitment to overcome disruptions and transform the AIDS response for a healthier future.
