VISIT TO SHARANALAYAM ON 03/11/2023
VISIT TO OLD AGE HOME : As a part of our B.Sc. Nursing curriculum our college planned and organized visit to old age home at sharanalayam, Koonathara. Old age home is a multi residence housing facility intended for senior citizens. As a part of III year B. Sc. Nursing, Mental health nursing requirement 58 students of Nehru College of Nursing were visited sharanalayam on 03.11.2023 from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm. Sharanalayam is established in 2008, which is run by nun sisters. The students of the college interacted with the elderly followed by an entertainment programme with music, singing songs and dance. The inmates were very happy and blessed everyone it was a very happy moment with full of satisfaction that our students could bring some rays of happiness among elderly. This observational visit was very much useful for the students to fulfill their requirement in Mental Health Nursing Subject.
